Its dual motors give you a smooth boost, while three speed settings let you choose between a relaxed cruise and a faster ride. With up to 2.5 m/s speed, 15 kgf thrust and 90 minutes of runtime at low speed, there’s plenty to look forward to beneath the surface.

A gentle cruise or a burst of speed

Some days call for a slow swim. Others call for a little excitement. Three speed settings let you match the ride to your activity, from 0.6 m/s for an easy cruise to 2.5 m/s (9 km/h) at full speed.

For longer sessions, choose low mode. For the strongest boost, choose high mode. You control the trade-off between speed and battery time.

Runtime is an estimate and varies with conditions, user weight and water resistance. Maximum runtime applies to low mode only.

Stay for another lap

The removable 201.6 Wh battery delivers up to 90 minutes in low mode, giving you more time for relaxed exploring and pool fun. Charging takes approximately 4-5 hours.

Turn familiar laps into something to look forward to. The low-speed setting offers a gentler pace for confident swimmers, while the higher settings add a more energetic ride.

Children must be supervised by an adult. Choose a speed and swimming area suited to the user’s ability.

For trained scuba divers, the Manta 2 adds powered propulsion to underwater exploring, with a maximum operating-depth rating of 40 metres.

The depth rating is an equipment limit. Always dive within your training, certification and conditions.

A few things to know before you buy

Does it run for 90 minutes at full speed?

No. Up to 90 minutes applies to low mode. Medium mode offers approximately 30-45 minutes, and high mode 13-20 minutes. Actual runtime varies with conditions, user weight and water resistance.

Can I use my original Manta battery?

No. The original Manta and Manta 2 batteries are not interchangeable.

Can I take it on a flight?

The 201.6 Wh battery exceeds the usual 160 Wh passenger-baggage limit for lithium-ion batteries. Do not assume it can travel in checked or cabin baggage. Ask your airline about permitted transport arrangements before booking.

How do I look after it?

Rinse the scooter with fresh water after saltwater use, dry the battery and connections before charging, and follow the supplied manual for battery care and storage.
