Add a glue-on PVC slide-in fin box to almost anything to allow connection of your LEFEET SUP Kit

This kit comes with everything you need to install the provided slide-in fin box to the bottom of your PVC inflatable SUP or similar watercraft, with a protective sleeve to improve the look and functionality of the finbox.

ALWAYS secure your LEFEET Motor Unit to an appropriate place on your watercraft (e.g. your SUP's leg rope D-loop) with the supplied lanyard.

Unless specified otherwise, we will send a black sleeve. Other colour choices include red, white and light blue.

Instructions:

PVC glue is a chemical bond which is permanent. Be very careful to get it right the first time!

1. Dry all your PVC surfaces thoroughly

2. Warm the PVC surfaces of the watercraft, the fin box and the sleeve - leaving it out for 30 minutes on a warm Summer's day does the trick, otherwise use a hairdryer but don't cook it! You want everything to be flexible enough to bond together properly.

3. Choose a location which will not be on a fold line if the watercraft is inflatable and to be folded for storage or transport.

4. Lay the fin box on the surface of the watercraft and mark the position carefully - look from both ends of the watercraft to check that it is centred and pointing in the right direction.

5. Apply the PVC glue to all parts of the underside of the fin box.

6. Double-check that you're about to install the fin box in the right direction! The peg hole goes towards the BACK of the watercraft

7. Place the fin box on the watercraft and press down firmly for at least 30 seconds. Slowly and carefully remove downward pressure, and if it lifts at any point press down firmly in that spot and repeat the process.

8. Do the same for the sleeve, being careful that the sleeve doesn't fall into the wrong position.

9. Depending on the surface, the PVC glue may take 1-2 hours to fully cure, don't rely on it before then!
